We are Matchbox Studio, a full-service branding studio hell-bent on helping brands that seek to entertain, go big, ask “What if?”, and create lasting connections that ignite a following.

We are a small studio, which means you will not be lost in layers of process. You will collaborate directly with account managers, creative directors, and clients. This is the kind of work where you can see your impact. You will be challenged, but you will also have fun as part of a tight knit crew that believes in serious work with a not so serious vibe.

What You'll Actually Do

• Lead the concept development, design, and production of creative work across print, digital, and experiential

• Present ideas and solutions to clients with confidence and clarity

• Oversee multiple projects while managing scope, budgets, and timelines

• Mentor and inspire design team members, giving feedback that sharpens their skills

• Build and maintain brand systems that stand up and stand out

• Prepare and oversee production including print specs, paper selection, pre press, and press checks

• Keep us on top of design trends, tools, and new creative ways to make brands pop

What You Bring:

• Five or more years of experience in a creative agency or studio environment

• A portfolio that proves you can concept big ideas and deliver sharp, polished design across mediums

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma with bonus points for After Effects or motion skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to thrive in the juggle

• Leadership and mentoring experience with the ability to raise the bar and bring people with you

• A positive and collaborative spirit with a sense of humor to match

We are based in Deep Ellum, Dallas. We welcome local candidates and will also consider strong remote candidates who meet the qualifications.
